I can not believe we are in the middle of April, but here we are, and we are back with week two of April events happening in New York City from the 19 through the 25. So, it is time to enjoy this gorgeous weather. There is so much happening here in New York City — something for everyone.

$10 Tapas to Celebrate Ten Hope Spring Patio Re-opening
You know the weather is beautiful when one of my favorite outdoor patios is reopening. Ten Hope’s Spring Patio is Reopening, and we are celebrating.
Enjoy month-long all-day specials at Ten Hope in honor of their seasonal grand reopening on Thursday, April 20th.
The beautiful dining destination is ready for the warm weather, with a 2,500-square-foot vine-laced open-air patio and a new $10 Happy Hour menu full of Mediterranean bites.
So here is what is on the menu.
The $10 Tapas menu, available all April, features Starters like Asparagus Croquettes, Mushroom Pate, Homemade Flatbreads served with Chickpea hummus and Ricotta from scratch, and meatier bites like 3 oz. Sliders and Hanger Steak Skewers. Guests can wash it down with $5 beers, shots, hard seltzers, and $10 wines, cocktails, and spirits.
Although reservations are not required, they are encouraged by visiting Ten Hope’s website.

Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day
Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day is an annual car-free event NYC DOT hosts. Programming is presented at signature locations citywide to promote activism and education surrounding climate change, sustainability, and other relevant topics.
Through the support of Lyft, Citi Bike will offer free unlimited 30-minute rides on a classic Citi Bike on Open Streets: Car-Free Earth Day. All riders may take advantage of the offer by using the promo code CARFREE23 in the Citi Bike app.

Apple Blossom Carnival
Put the Spring in your step down on the farm with the Apple Blossom Carnival on April 22 and 23 from 11 AM to 6 PM.
Merry Go Round in our orchard and celebrate the season with assorted carnival rides by Newton Shows. Add to the fun with hayrides, midway games, local food vendors, and a visit with our farm animals.
