It is official—the Holiday season is here. So are you on Santa’s Naughty or Nice list? At The Skinny Bar and Lounge, it is officially the anti-holiday season, and they are celebrating everyone, whether you have been naughty or nice.
The Lower East Side Bar and Lounge The Skinny is back with its fifth annual anti-holiday pop-up, “Naughty or Nice,” which will officially open to the public on December first through the end of January twenty twenty-three.
Be in awe of the Bar’s over-the-top gaudy Christmas decor decked from floor-to-ceiling, a calendar full of surprises and interactive games. Expect events that will place you on the naughty list, like seductive burlesque performances—there is also live music, and maybe if you are lucky, you might get a glimpse of The Skinny’s iconic Naughty Santa.
Being naughty has never tasted this good as you indulge in mouthwatering holiday-inspired foods and cocktails.
The entire cocktail menu is a MUST try, and here is how to do it.
“Upon arrival at the Bar, start with “Mrs Claus’ Pink Panties,” beautifully garnished with a sprig of rosemary and, of course, “Mrs Claus’ Pink Panties.” Then take a trip with the “Flying Elf,” a frozen cocktail to wake up your taste buds. Want to dance? How about “Grinding Up Against The Gingerman” and remember “Cousins Should Not Dance So Close.” It is, after all, “Sweater Weather,” and it is time to get “Naughty…Definitely Naughty.” And before you leave the Bar, tell the bartender to “Keep The Change, Ya Filthy Dog” and remember to “Gingle Bells, Brandy Smells” Because this cocktail menu is the best “Holiday’s Coping Mechanism” ever.
The Skinny Bar and Lounge’s “Naughty or Nice” Holiday pop-up is everything you would expect and much more. It was an enjoyable experience with an incredible holiday vibe. The atmosphere is exciting, and there are Tantalizing performances, creative games, and great music. The bartenders are friendly, and the servers are attentive. Although the experience was fabulous, the tasty bits and the cocktail menu will make you want to visit again and again.
