The Wyckoff farmhouse was built during the 1650s and is a National Historic Landmark. 3. Erasmus Hall

Named after the Dutch scholar, philosopher, and theologian Desiderius Erasmus, this is the oldest learning center in NYC. Erasmus Hall Academy was designed in several phases in Georgian, Federal, and Gothic Revival architecture.

Paerdegat Park is named after the Paedegat Basin, a marshy wetland pouring into Jamaica Bay, the place is a favorite of sports enthusiasts. Lush green stands, a basketball court, a handball court, a baseball diamond, a cricket field, a playground for children, and a spray shower surround them.

The park is an attraction for local visitors to spend some time in the laps of nature. Benches, checkered tables, and chess facilities keep the visitors relaxed and engaged.

Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church in East Flatbush

6. Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church

Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church is located 5 minutes from Little Caribbean, this church is an architectural treasure. The original church building was constructed circa 1654 and later expanded to add a 2.5-story Federal-style stone building during the 1790s. The Gregorian tower boasts an octagonal spired belfry with Tuscan colonettes. Later, a wooden-framed parsonage was created in Greek Revival and Italianate fusion style in 1853.

The church house was the last addition to the entire building in Colonial Revival style during the early 1920s. Its façade is made of Manhattan schist rocks interspersed with arched glass windows.
