Townhouses for Brooklyn Heights at 295-299 Hicks Street Brooklyn NY
The long-vacant lot at 295-299 Hicks Street at State Street in Brooklyn Heights, untouched since the 1940s, is poised for a significant transformation. The Landmark Preservation Commission [LPC] has given the green light to a proposal to construct three new townhouses on the site, as reported by Curbed. This project, initially unveiled in September, was revised based on feedback before receiving final approval.
Designed by Krista Demirdache of Nikolai Katz Architect, the development will feature four-story, single-family townhouses, each with four bedrooms and front and rear terraces. Commissioner Frederick Bland, a Brooklyn Heights resident, expressed his approval of the traditional architectural style.
The project is being developed by Heights Advisors, promising to bring new life to this historic neighborhood.
