Let Brooklyn Sleep was created from the hearts of two Brooklynites. The husband and wife team, Julianne, and Rob saw the effects COVID-19 had on local businesses in their community. The couple wanted to help and invested their funds to start this love project. The twofold goal was to support local businesses and promote social distancing.
They created a small collection of t-shirts printed with the words “Let Brooklyn Sleep.” T-shirts are available FOR SALE at $25.00 each by visiting their website. Ten dollars from each purchase will go to your business of choice.
The couple started this project by reaching out to individual local businesses via emails, Instagram, and phone calls. Let Brooklyn Sleep have since collaborated with 30 different businesses.
“There is nothing needed from the businesses besides their willingness to participate. There are no requirements, besides being Brooklyn based, to support our community. We are continuing to actively reach out to add more businesses.”
