Thelist
October reading list
Reading is a huge part of my life. Reading allows me the freedom to escape and experience life in unusual and beautiful ways.
Fall, I believe to be the beginning of the most hectic time of the year. Amid the hustle and bustle, the chaos and holiday events lies a deep yearning for quiet moments. What’s a more rewarding way to spend a divine still moment that with a great book.
I chose four books for October’s reading list and I drew recommendations from different sources. I read five to six books a month and I tend to stay with two specific genres. However with a goal to expand my library I’m getting out my comfort zone this month with my reading. I know four-books may seem ambitious however if you’re only able to read just one book that would be wonderful.
The Water Dancer
Ta Nehisi Coates
This is Oprah’s book club pick. I’m excited to read this book – the reviews are wonderful. In the past, I’ve enjoyed many of #Oprahbookclub
My sister the serial killer
Oyinkan Braithwaite
This book is recommended by @bookwineclub and comes with a recommendation bottle of red wine. I love the concept of this book club and the wine recommendation is a nice bonus. The reviews are very good.
I shouldn’t be telling you this

This book comes highly recommended by Pauleanna Reid @pauleannareid – Ms. Reid credits this book as her manual for developing great habits and creating an untouchable lead. The reviews are excellent. I am Part II and it’s a great read so far.
