There is something about a pair of white sneakers that makes them irresistible. And to add to their charm, you can pair them with almost anything. The outfit potential is endless because a pair of white sneakers are a blank canvas. You can wear them with a dress, a skirt, or even jeans. And, still, look fabulous. The versatility is boundless in a crisp pair of white sneakers. But there is a time and place to wear these beauties. They perfectly complement any outfit for running errands, traveling, or working out. So today, we are sharing twenty white sneakers to wear now.

I surprised myself with this article since I am the complete opposite of a sneaker kind of girl. Give me a pair of heels, and I will conquer the world [well, the quote is “Give a girl the right pair of shoes, and she will conquer the world”]. But you get the idea, I love heels, rarely wear flats, and believed a girl should own two pairs of sneakers: one for the gym and one if she takes cycling classes often [because rented shoes are well, you know]. I still have rules regarding sneakers, but now there is an added element.

Why an article about sneakers?

A few years ago, I purchased a pair of sneakers from Rag and bone on a dare. They turned out to be one of the best [forced] investments I have made.

They are the most comfortable thing I have ever owned, made of buttery suede and the perfect hue of charcoal. I have managed to pair them well for running errands and have used them once or twice for traveling. Truthfully I used to think sneakers made women look untidy and frumpy and thought them unsuitable for most occasions. I have since realized that a white pair of sneakers is a Wardrobe essential and can be worn stylishly with the proper clothing. However, I still believe they are not meant to be worn on most occasions and rarely after dark unless you are going for a late-night run or you are a bride in converse dancing the night away with a glass of champagne.

In July, I was traveling and decided to add a pair of fresh white sneakers to my wardrobe, which meant a lot of research. However, as we head into Autumn, I think it is the perfect time to snag the perfect pair of white sneakers, especially if you plan on traveling or doing early holiday shopping. Of course, I could have created a list of over a hundred brands offering white sneakers, but I thought I would keep it small.

This is a list of the best, fresh white sneakers to buy and wear now. From Nike to Adidas to Vans to Hoka, these are some of the best picks from a few of my favorite brands all within different price ranges.

Pro Tip–Here is how to care for a pair of white sneakers

While we all love a good pair of sparkling white sneakers, it is can be hard to care for them. They can get dirty and stained within minutes, it takes a lot of effort to clean and restore them to their original state.

If you also face the same problem, here are some tips to help you maintain your white sneakers

  • Use a shoe cleaner [or a magic eraser] to keep your white sneakers clean. If you do not have either of the things, you can simply dip a cloth in vinegar and use that as well.
  • Remember to clean your shoelaces as well. One of the easiest ways to clean white shoelaces is to remove them from the shoe and soak them in warm water with dish soap. Then gently rub them, rinse and put them to dry.
  • To quickly dry your shoe after a cleanse or wash, stuff them with paper towels.
