This year is the forty-ninth annual Halloween Parade NYC hosted in Greenwich Village.
The Halloween parade in Greenwich Village tops the list of every Halloween event in NYC. So, if you are in the city on October Thirty First, this is the place to be. The parade can be viewed on both sides of Sixth Avenue between King and fifteenth Street.
There is a costume contest, which automatically enters you for simply showing up in costume. Prizes are announced after the parade. In addition, the Halloween Parade has secret scouts browsing the crowd for the most original and fun costumes.

A Haunting in Hollis is located in Hollis Queens at a residential home. The house features spooky decor and spookier actors just for you. In addition, there is a haunted house, as well as escape rooms available.
The haunted house features a five floors chase with two options. If you are like me, you will probably use the safe word “peanut butter” and say maybe next year. Or use your laser gun and have spooky fun. Unfortunately, the only way out is down a twenty-foot slide, so are you ready?
Tickets are twenty dollars per person for the five-story haunted house, and there are a forty dollars express option. Tickets for the escape rooms are forty dollars per person.

Headless Horseman is a fantastic Halloween event in New York City. The outdoor attraction is made up of eight haunted houses. In addition, there are escape rooms that can be experienced at an additional cost. But the dark harvest corn maze and the dark and spooky outdoor walk are worth the visit.

The Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, led by Artistic Director Phil Nuzzo, will perform a night of Halloween-inspired music at St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn Heights. Pianist Konstantin Soukhovetski will return as special guest, handling Liszt’s fiendish virtuoso tour-de-force.
“Hear the skeletons dance in Saint-Saëns classic Dance Macabre. Then, Franz Liszt treats us to his usual fiendish pyrotechnic display in his Piano Concerto #2,” the Orchestra says. “Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique gives us a musical decapitation and a wild witches dance, and Shakespeare’s witches continue the dance in Verdi’s Prelude and Ballet music from his opera Macbeth.”
