Monday night was an amazing night while I was excited to see the Brooklyn Nets play at home – I believe I was just a tad more excited to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge make an appearance at the Barclays Center in our beloved Brooklyn.
It was an awesome game and I’m still disappointed that the Nets lost but I guess if I view the game as being a prelude to the main event, I’d feel better :). A few minutes into the third quarter the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their grand appearance and sat courtside across from Jay Z and Beyonce. Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavs put on quite a show for the Royal couple beating the Brooklyn Nets 110 to 88.
Between the third and fourth quarters, Brooklyn’s Royalty Jay Z and wife Beyonce walked across the court to meet British Royalty, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – what an amazing moment.
