I purchase the domain name for Brooklyn’s Lifestyle in 2006 – it was meant to be a site about Real Estate, after all, I couldn’t imagine writing about anything other than Real Estate or Fashion.
As I started working on my vision for Brooklyn’s Lifestyle, I realized that I just couldn’t write about Real Estate because writing about Real Estate would not give my audience the full experience of Brooklyn; I’d have to share my love for all things Brooklyn.
It’s been a long process getting to the point of actually publishing anything because Brooklyn is just so freaking amazing – how could I possibly share only some things about Brooklyn. I wanted to share everything about our beloved borough. In 2010 I published my first post and I continued to post well into the Summer of 2012. During that period I didn’t promote the site or didn’t tell many people about it. I lacked confidence in my vision and in July of 2012 I made a sad decision to shut down my site.
Deep within me I still felt that burning desire to share the place I call home – I needed to bring the right vision to life and confidently share My Brooklyn with you. I’m here now – where I should be…honestly and proudly sharing my stories about Brooklyn with you.
I’d like to welcome you – I hope you visit often and share your Brooklyn with me.
