Five Super Cool Brunch Spots In Brooklyn
Hello Dahlings,
it’s Friday and the weekend is upon us. It feels like Monday was just yesterday but I guess things always seem to move fast at the beginning of the year. I trust you’ve all had a fabulous week and you’re truly excited to enjoy your weekend completely. What have you got planned? The weather looks promising I believe Saturday’s high is 50 and Sunday isn’t too shabby at 47.
This weekend I’m taking things a bit slow since I had a jam-packed weekend last week – it was fun-filled and exciting. Saturday I’m doing SOULCYCLE at 8:30AM, then I will spend time with my dad and visit my grandmother.
Sunday I’m Brunching in Brooklyn and I’m looking forward to it since I have never had Brunch at this particular spot. I hope you’ll join me and share your Brunching experience.
I figured I keep up the momentum and share my weekend lineup of cool Brunch Spots – if you’re planning on Brunching in Brooklyn over the weekend, why not give one of my picks a try and when you do I’d love to hear about your experience. If you already have a favorite Brunch Spot please share it with me – I’m always excited to try new places.
Heights Cafe
I love this place because of its warmth and coziness. It is one of my go to dinner spots but it’s also great for brunch. It is always lovely to walk to the Brooklyn Promenade, which is one black away for some cool fresh air (or cold). The staff is friendly and attentive, the cocktails are a must try and the Food, well I have never had a bad meal here…It’s pretty darn good. The menu is simple and extensive – there is something for everyone.
I have pretty much gone through the entire menu but my first choices are:
Avocado Toast on Multi-grain Bread
Kale and Pumpkin Salad Crusted Goat Cheese
Spinach Omelette
Sweet Italian Sausage Frittata
Steak and Eggs
Auevos “Rancheros”

I’m so in love with this space…it’s stylish, charming and features two floors. It’s been my go-to dinner spot for the past week because I’m enjoying the menu. This is the only Brunch spot in Brooklyn that offers a $15.00 Unique drink special for unlimited White Peach Bellini, Bloody Mary, Sorrel Mimosa, Regular Mimosa, or Plum Wine Sangrias. One of the awesome things about this drink special is that you can start out with Bloody Mary and end with Plum Wine Sangria (yum). I have not yet tried Brunch here however I will this weekend – I’m including them on my list because I hope you awesome people will try them and give me some feedback. If you’re Brunching in Brooklyn this weekend give them a try.
On my list to try:
Jerk Shrimp and Grits

The servings aren’t huge and very much on the lighter side – if you’re super hungry The Chilequiles is definitely the go-to choice. They offer a nice selection of cocktails and If I were you I’d start with the Bloody Mary or Pimm’s Cup.
