Dean Street Restaurant at Dean & Underhill

I was invited for a drink by my best friend, and I have been addicted ever since. Every night’s a fun night at Dean Street Restaurant and Bar—a neighborhood staple. The Restaurant is owned by two junior high buddies, Rob and John.

Their goal was to create a place that felt like home every time you walk in the door, which is precisely how it feels each time I enter. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive. Ask for Tim while you are there. He is not only the most awesome bartender—he makes sure your glass is never empty and recommends the best desserts.

With a full menu featuring a variety of delicious dishes—there is something for everyone. My favorites include deviled eggs, crispy confit chicken wings, fried calamari, black bean veggie, shrimp po’boy, and cornmeal-crusted catfish.

On the nights they offer unique dishes, there’s always a pleasant surprise. Any night is a good night for a visit to enjoy a nice cocktail, a cold brew, and a great meal…with an interior of exposed brick walls and even mixed of members from Generation X and Y, this cozy spot is welcoming for a date night or to watch the game.
