Take the D, F, N, or Q subway lines to the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station, the last stop. These subway lines offer direct access to Coney Island from many parts of Brooklyn and Queens. The subway lines are an excellent option for those who may not have a car or want to avoid traffic. Taxis are also available for those looking for a quick ride.

Driving is also an option but should be taken with caution due to the heavy traffic in New York City. For those who prefer to drive, several parking lots are available for visitors to park their cars. The lots are typically open from 8 AM to 8 PM, but check online as times may vary depending on seasonality. There is also metered street parking in certain areas. However, street parking does fill up quickly. So plan if you are looking for this option. 

Uber or a Taxi ride is also available for those looking for a quick ride. Or consider bus services run much from throughout the city. Lastly, you can take the ferry from Lower Manhattan to enjoy a scenic journey to Coney Island.

Bike rental is an affordable way to explore the area while also getting some exercise.
