Founded in 2012 by Erwin Caesar and Erica Phillips – the husband and wife owners with South American and Caribbean backgrounds had the vision to create “A place which represented the diversity of the neighborhood and a home for the Community” I believe their vision embodies the space they occupy. Elberta Restaurant has avhieved their aim of creating a home for the community.
My go-to appetizer is the Deviled Eggs (take my word for it – they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried quite a number. Nothing beats the Crispy Whole Yellow Snapper, and while it’s not on the custom menu, try it anyway :). Okay, I have to stop myself because I could go on and on – I’ve tried everything on the menu, so you will be pleased.
