Our Brunch Experience

My recent experience was nothing short of enchanting. While I had previously relished their dinners, the brunch offerings unveiled an entirely new facet of their culinary prowess. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and attentive staff enveloped us in a sense of belonging. Our reservations were set for 12:30 PM. Yet the allure of the place and its offerings kept us lingering until well past 5 PM. Our journey began with expertly crafted cocktails. My choice, the timeless Espresso Martini, while my three friends embarked on the Basil Gimlet adventure.

The brunch menu, a finely curated collection of indulgent creations, beckoned us to explore. With options like Smashed Avocado Toast, Sambal Scramble, and the iconic Isla Benedicts, we found ourselves compelled to indulge in a feast fit for royalty. The array was so enticing that we could not resist ordering the entire Brunch menu, with two side orders of avocado and bacon to complete the experience.

As the meal unfolded, so did our camaraderie with the staff. Fourteen Basil Gimlets and four Espresso Martinis later, laughter and conversations flowed seamlessly. The staff, embodying the ethos of Isla & Co., added an extra layer of warmth to our already delightful experience.

As our day at Isla & Co. concluded, our bill tallied just over $400 for the four of us, including a generous 25 percent tip [making our overall experience not just delightful but affordable]. A small price to pay for an experience that encapsulated delectable cuisine, gracious service, and an ambiance that embraced us like old friends.
